"Every image has a story to tell. Camping four days in a tent in Joshua Tree NP hoping the clouds will arrive to meet the sunset or 5 am at the Wilton Land Conservancy on a very cold February morning waiting for the Sun to break through on the horizon.
Landscape photography for me is an exercise in patience, skill and a large dose of luck. The beauty we see is just a moment in time, fleeting. All those elements come together to form that moment. From the Road is a photographic collection that reflects the visual richness and intricate character of the natural world. Created over a decade of travel—spanning California, the American Southwest, and the East Coast—the series forms a personal photographic diary shaped by more than 130,000 miles on the road. Each image captures the shifting conditions of place and time, offering a quiet record of light, terrain, and atmosphere. The work is guided by a desire to create photographs that speak directly to the viewer, inviting emotional engagement and encouraging reflection on our relationship with the Earth. Through this practice, the series aims to foster a deeper awareness of the environments we inhabit and to support a broader commitment to understanding and preserving the natural world.
