Harrison Beckenstein

Harrison Beckenstein's work primarily focuses on human interaction and the creative exploration between shape, anatomical figure, and abstraction. Much of his work is done within the medium of painting or drawing. Harrison says much of his inspiration comes from observing current and past trends within architecture, fashion design, and the arts. Harrison has been recognized locally and statewide for his accomplishments, receiving the Michael Meltzer Memorial Music and Art Scholarship (2022), the Junior Book Award from Norwalk Community College (2022), and the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) Outstanding Arts Award (2023). Harrison plans to continue his studies and practice in the arts beyond college and aspires to collaborate with artistic directors and institutions.
